I was asked, at home, about what an ancient old man from greece thought about how people think. Much as I hated the simplistic opinions of the  old goat, I had to come up with a sensible answer for the benefit of a certain someone’s assignment. I likened him to a certain russian novelist who shared much of the same ideals, and as with any conclusion drawn from observations and smidgets of little facts, there is some truth to the statements that were presented to me last night.

Capable people are seldom rude.

’Cause, if you know what you’re doing, you don’t need to justify your decisions by trampling on others. And you wouldn’t have to elaborately explain how the entire situation isn’t your fault.

Of course, that isn’t the proper thing to say about a world renowned old goat. Especially when I was actually whining about my current work enviroment. So let’s try again.

Conscience comes with the educated, as that the only wrongs commited by men, were in situations that they had not known better. Or so the reasoning goes, which led to several unlikely baseless assumptions.

I remember numerous instances myself, where I had known better, but went through with my choices anyway no matter the consequences, because, dammit, it felt really, really damn good at the time.

Then she copied the text off of a book, cause she couldn’t get a decent answer from me. I can be useless like that.
